Beyond a Song host Rich Reardin interviews composer, bassist, multi-instrumentalist David Goldflies. David started his career playing bass in various cover bands in Ohio, ending up becoming the bass player for Dickie Betts 'Great Southern' band in the mid seventies. At that time The Allman Brothers Band reformed with David on bass, from 1978 to 1982. Since then, he's played all kinds of genres of music including jazz, rock, and classical music, playing orchestra bass in the Panama City Philharmonic Orchestra in Florida. 

Musical selections include: Blue Sky, Pegasus, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, Donna Marie.
