For a short news piece this makes good use of sound and descriptive writing. It covers an interesting subject seldomly noticed in the U.S., or other Western countries. Four minutes is understandable for radio programs with rigid time-slots, but I think this piece would benefit from an extra minute or so. It's a timely piece, but the Chinese tensions and anger discussed is not going away anytime soon. Perhaps adding some more voices, specifically getting "man-on-the-street" Japanese reactions to these demonstrations would help add some balance and human elements. Politcians aside, what do they think about it? At times the sound elements could be a bit tighter, but all in all, a well produced piece. Foreign news like this needs to be heard more.
