Voices from around the world on how the pandemic is affecting life. In this episode, among other things, we hear about noticing springtime, having a first date on zoom, and considering how many people will end up with a cleanliness OCD after the pandemic.

This piece is non-narrated, documentary-style montage of audio diaries from people all over the world. The piece opens with a montage of 3 different people talking about noticing the natural world, then moves to one woman's grief for a friend and her work, then to worries about PPE and stories people helping each other during this time, then to businesses who aren't getting government help and people who haven't gotten their stimulus checks. We hear what it's like to be pregnant and have to be away from the father who is an essential worker, a fourth grade class zoom meeting, reflections on video dating during lockdown, and a Romanian woman wondering if her OCD around cleanliness will last longer than the pandemic.

These are real people reflecting on what life is like now in ways that are moving, funny, and poignant.

The show is non-narrated and documentary-style with a wide range of voices.

The Transmission Times Project has 2 parts, one is this show, the other is an archive. All of the audio diaries that are submitted are collected for an archive, some of them are then used for this show. Thus, at the end of the episodes there is a request for people to submit their diaries to the project.
