The ABC is Australia's public broadcaster. It produces national and local television, radio and online services.  

Two of its radio networks are:

Double J - a national digital radio network in Australia, triple j’s older sister station, playing the best music from your past, present and future.

RN - ABC Radio’s national talk station.  With 60 distinct programs each week it has become known as the Ideas Network, where people can hear the latest in science, books, history, storytelling, the arts, religion and current affairs.  Most programs are podcast.  RN’s vision and purpose is to nurture the intellectual and cultural life of Australia and to be a vital element of the contemporary Australian conversation. 

Some of RN’s programs are:

Earshot - a 30 minute documentary feature program that explores contemporary life, history, creativity, spirituality and ideas.  

Radiotonic - storytelling with a twist.  A 30 minute mix of fiction, non-fiction, essays and drama.

PocketDocs - short documentaries, fiction, monologues and musings - stories that celebrate the curious, the absurd, the mundane and the fantastical.
