Review of Dalai Lama-Japan

Well-written, cleanly delivered, and rich with exotic sounds. Herman conveys a lot of information in a short and listenable space of time. But while I admire his attempt to be politically even-handed, I'm disappointed that no context whatever is given for China's antagonism toward the Dalai Lama. The word "exile" is not used, and to say that China "has ruled Tibet since 1951" seems far too delicate a phrasing for the bloody Chinese invasion of Tibetans' homeland, the equivalent of a genocide against Buddhists and their ancient culture.
