Black History Month is a month to reflect and celebrate the achievements of Black Americans. What once was a week celebration, became a month-long celebration in 1976 to recognize the contributions of African Americans in American history.
Houston Public Media proudly honors and celebrates the contributions of our Black community through these thirteen (13) one-minute vignettes produced for "Black History Month".
