Piece Information
- "From Cafeteria to Compost"
- Summary: Where does garbage go? Zoe Sheinkopf wanted to know. She lives in Bellingham, Washington. In Bellingham, a program called Food Plus teaches students how to compost - they separate food from the rest of their garbage in the school cafeteria. Zoe's school is the only high school in Bellingham without the Food Plus program. Zoe wanted to know what it would take to get it there. So she went on a journey to find out what happens when compost leaves the cafeteria.

Since this piece was produced, Sehome High School started participating in the Food Plus compost program. Yay!
